Kansas City / 1.25 mile wood oval (9/17/22 - 7/04/24) / turns were banked 35 degrees / built by Jack Prince & Art Pillsbury / located south of K.C. at 95th and Holmes Road / it cost $500,000 to build / Roscoe Sarles was fatally injured on 9/17/22 / rumor has it the track was secretly financed by the Kansas City Star, and when the track failed, the Star stopped its coverage of auto racing / the site became a Pratt and Whitney airplane engine plant during World War II / the site later became a factory of the Bendix Co.
