Hammonton / 1.5 mile wood oval (5/01/26 - 9/16/28) / turns were banked 45 degrees / built by Jack Prince & Art Pillsbury/ first race was won by Harry Hartz at an average speed of 134.091 mph / fastest of the board tracks / 147.727 mph set by Frank Lockhart in 1927 / Ralph DePalma won a couple of stock car races on 5/30/28 in a Mercedes / the track was built on the old site of the Amatol Arsenal where TNT explosives were made for use by the U.S. Government during World War I / site is now the site of Troop A of the New Jersey State Police
Woodbridge Speedway
Woodbridge / 1/2 mile wood oval (7/21/28 - 10/18/31) / turns were banked 38 degrees / three drivers, Johnny Rohrer (10/27/29), Bob Robinson (7/27/30), and Bernie Katz (5/10/31) were fatally injured on the board track / Bert Karnatz won the very last ever major board track race on 10/18/31 / track ran AAA races, but never a Nat'l Championship race / the site is now Woodbridge High School Stadium / uses old grandstands
