NO PROTEST FROM ALLEY
Awards to Winners in Saturday's Race Given Out.
No protests have been filed against the decision of the technical committee as to the prize winners in the auto derby here last Saturday. G. Decker French, representative of the A.A.A., at the head of the committee announced last night, and the awards were given out.
It was thought that the awards might be held up on account of an expected protest from Tom Alley, who was recorded officially as finishing eighth in Saturday's event, but who maintained that he was entitled to fifth or at least sixth. Alley's protest did not materialize, however.
