EARL COOPER IS HERE FOR BIG SPEEDWAY RACE

Earl Cooper, one of the famous Stutz racing team which cleaned up on many of the big tracks last season arrived in the city this morning accompanied by Mrs. Cooper.

Cooper's mechanician, Lew Dutton, has been here for several days and his racing car is also here. Cooper will race in the speedway race here Monday, June 26, and will take his car to the track for preliminary tryouts right away.

It is the first appearance of Cooper here. He is no relation to the late Joe Cooper who lost his life in the speedway races here a year ago.
