WILL STAGE AUTO RACES AT SPEEDWAY HERE ON JUNE 16TH
A series of automobile races will be staged at the Speedway here on June 16th, according to an announcement made today. The races will be put on by Alex Sloan and Max Friedman, the former a well known race promoter who has staged races at the local and other state fairs for several years.
The races will consist of dashes of five and ten miles and an hour's race to see which car covers the most distance in that time. They will be run under the sanction of the International Motor Contest association. The list of drivers entered will be announced later.
Mr. Sloan is now putting on the automobile races at the state fair at Dallas, Texas.
