Ralph De Palma will not lose any chances in the big speedway races Saturday for want of practice or familiarity with the race course. He took a tuning up trip over the new track yesterday at an average speed of ninety-three miles per hour for a distance of sixty-five miles. De Palma's time for the fastest mile was 35 seconds, which appeared to get him around the track almost as soon as he had started. Work on the finishing touches at the speedway is being done now and the last nails are being driven in to the grandstand and boxes. A few days of sunshine will insure excellent roads to the grounds by the time of the start of the races Saturday.
