The excessive rains have so softened the roads and the speedway grounds that it has been found necessary to postpone the big derby, or 300-mile race, till Saturday, August 7.
The elimination races that were scheduled for yesterday were unavoidably postponed and will be held Saturday afternoon, August 7th.
Mr. Wagner the official starter, will have charge and announce his conditions at the time. Race will be limited to twelve. If so many pass the limit, the highest twelve will enter. If fewer pass, that number will compose the entries.
There will be a match race with three cars, and O'Donnell will make a 50 mile run for a record on a mile track.
