Place - Speedway track near Valley Junction.

Start - Promptly at 1:30 p.m.

Distance - 300 miles or 300 times around track.

Cash awards - $10,000 offered by management.

Race sanction - By American Automobile association.

How to reach track - Rock Island shuttle trains or street car and jitney from end of car line. Autoists follow road marked by flags from end of pavement on West Grand avenue. New bridge at south approach to track open until 1 p.m. Subway open all time.
