AUTO RACE WILL BE HELD HERE JUNE 16
The annual big auto classic at the local speedway will be held on Saturday June, 15, according to an announcement made last night.
Max Friedman of San Francisco, who has leased the speedway, was in the city yesterday and completed plans for the race here.
Entry blanks already have been sent to the leading auto racers throughout the country and many of the best drivers will compete in the local race.
